When will primary schools open in Bihar? Bihar government’s big decision in view of Kovid-19, all schools and colleges from class 1 to 12 will remain closed till further orders.
Bihar government special secretary (Bihar School Examination Board) Sanjay Kumar said that all schools up to class 12 will remain closed till further orders. The state government also announced that there will be no online classes during this period.
He said that the decision was taken due to the rise in Covid-19 cases. Sanjay Kumar said that no student or teacher will come to school during this period while teachers and other staff can continue to work from home.
Many states like Delhi, Punjab, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh have closed schools and colleges. Not only this, some states have also postponed their home exams (8th, 9th and 11th) and board exams (10th and 12th) to curb outsiders.

Uttar Pradesh: CM Yogi Adityanath has ordered schools to remain closed till class 12th till further orders. After seeing a spike in cases, the CM extended the date.
Rajasthan: The 10th and 12th board examinations to be conducted by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education, Ajmer has been postponed.
Madhya Pradesh: CM orders schools to remain closed till the 8th standard.
Bihar: The state government has ordered the closure of all schools, colleges, and coaching centers.
Delhi: As per an earlier order, schools will remain closed for classes till the 8th.
Maharashtra: The state is witnessing a rapid number of coronavirus cases. Due to this situation, schools are ordered to promote students up to class 8 without exams.
Chhattisgarh: Schools have been ordered to remain close till further notice.
Tamil Nadu: The state government has ordered the closure of schools for classes 9, 10, and 11 from March 9 till further notice.
Punjab: After seeing a rise in the number of cases in the state, schools and colleges will remain closed in Punjab.
Jammu and Kashmir: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has ordered the closure of schools up to class 12th.
Himachal Pradesh: Schools and colleges have been ordered to remain closed. However, there is no restriction on the movement of tourists in the state.
